1. What we collect

We collect information you give us voluntarily and information that gets generated when you use our site.

Information you give us:

• Name and email when you register a warranty
• Amazon Order ID and product model (needed for warranty coverage)
• Any message content in forms or emails

Information collected automatically:

• IP address and approximate location (country level)
• Browser type and device information
• Pages you visit and time spent on our site

2. Cookies

Our site uses cookies. Some are essential. Others help us understand how people use the site so we can make it better.

We use:

• Essential cookies — remember your session and form inputs.
• Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, to see which pages get visited. Data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.
• Marketing cookies — if we run ads, these help track which ad brought you here. You can block these in your browser settings.

You can disable cookies in your browser. The site still works, but some features (like saved form inputs) won't remember you.

3. Third-party tools

We use a few third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Formspree / Google Forms — handles warranty form submissions.
• Amazon Attribution — when you click "Buy on Amazon", Amazon may set cookies. We don't control those.

We don't sell your data. We sell chargers and power banks — not information.

4. How we use your information

• To process warranty registrations and respond to support requests
• To improve our products based on feedback
• To send warranty-related emails (no marketing emails unless you ask)
• To analyze site usage and fix broken pages

5. Data retention

We keep warranty data for as long as needed to service claims — typically 3 years after the warranty period ends. Analytics data in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months. You can ask us to delete your data — see "Your Rights" below.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we have about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to or limit how we process your data

To exercise these rights, email privacy@voltgo.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you're in California: we don't "sell" personal information as defined by the CCPA. You still have the rights listed above.

7. Children's privacy

Our site and products are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided us data, email us and we'll delete it.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data — HTTPS for all connections, access controls on our systems, and regular security reviews. If we ever have a data breach affecting your information, we'll notify you as required by law.

9. International users

VoltGo is based in the United States. If you access the site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the site, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. If changes are significant, we also email people who registered warranties.
