Some warmth is normal — especially with GaN chargers running at high wattage. VoltGo units are designed to stay within safe temperature ranges even at 65W output. If the charger feels too hot to hold, unplug it and email us.
Yes, if your MacBook supports USB-C PD charging. The 65W output covers MacBook Air (all sizes) and 13" MacBook Pro. For 16" MacBook Pro, charging will be slower than with the original 140W adapter — the 140W power bank is a better match.
Yes. It's 91.25Wh, under the FAA's 100Wh carry-on limit. You don't need airline approval. Don't put it in checked luggage — that's not allowed for any lithium battery over 100Wh equivalent.
With a 100W PD charger, about 90 minutes from empty to full. With our 65W GaN charger, about 2 hours. With a standard 30W charger, expect 4–5 hours.
Some VoltGo models have a trickle-charge mode for low-current devices (earbuds, smartwatches). Double-press the power button to exit trickle mode. If that doesn't fix it, email us — it may be a warranty issue.
VG-10KC has a fixed USB-C cable. VG-10KM has a switchable USB-C / Lightning cable. If you have an iPhone 14 or earlier, get the VG-10KM. If you're all USB-C, the VG-10KC is simpler.
